Sitting on 10 private acres with incredible views, This 7,000 square foot home has everything you need for an unforgettable family vacation or corporate retreat. Located 20 min from downtown black mountain and 30 min from Asheville, you’ll have privacy as well as convenience. THE SPACE: Specifically designed for those who love a blend of history with modern comforts, The Castle in the Sky is a 6 Bedroom 5 bathroom masterpiece nestled high in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Sitting on 10 acres, The blend of indoor/outdoor amenities were tirelessly designed in order to create memories of a lifetime for our guests. The home was originally custom built by a Princeton Professor who’s wife was a world renowned European designer. We hired an award winning design firm to maintain the integrity of the home while outfitting it with all of the amenities that you would expect for a large family or group. We focused everything on the theme of "Medieval Modernity.” You will notice custom oil paintings and beautiful Wallpaper throughout the home. Imagine making yourself a cocktail or coffee, and just lounging peacefully while reading a good book or having a great conversation. This was a dream of our to build for our guests and we can’t wait for you to enjoy it. Hot Tub Cold Plunge 2nd Level Outdoor: Polywood Lounging furniture with gas Firepit Gas Grill Blackstone Pizza Oven Outdoor Dining OTHER THINGS TO NOTE** The driveway is approx. 1/2 mile long. The first half is unpaved but level. The 2nd half is fairly steep but it is paved. You don't need any special vehicle to get to the home. Any car will be perfectly fine. However, if we do get snow/ice, It can be difficult to travel up and down the driveway. The bunk room is connected to 2 bedrooms and you will have to go through another bedroom to get to the bathroom. It's ideal for kids.

You will have full access to the entire home and all of the property.

Other details

The property is very large and has tons of space for 14 guests. The top floor has 5 bedrooms. One thing to note... The bunkroom is connected to 2 bedrooms. If sleeping in the bunkroom, you will need to go through another bedroom to get to the bathroom. You will have to go through a bedroom to access the side of the house with the speakeasy and Laundry room.

This resource will include a wealth of information to enhance your stay, such as local attractions, nearby grocery stores, and detailed directions to the house. 24 hours prior to your check-in, we will send you the address and all necessary information to ensure a smooth arrival. On the morning of your check-in day, you will receive a personalized door code for secure and convenient access to the property.
